Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! Christmas Baking post #2 is underway.  Here are a few more things I have made this holiday season.

 Andes Chocolate Cookies

Coconut Macaroons.

Now I'm not a fan of coconut but sometimes baking is just about pleasing those who you bake for and not yourself.  Hope you enjoy!

Sugar Snowflakes

Merry! (well almost) Christmas!!!!

I took a bit of a baking break after Thanksgiving for a couple of reasons.

1. To focus on my finals - if I fail my classes, and then never graduate then I will never have any money to bake delicious things to share with you

2. To prepare and rev up for Christmas, where I have more than made up for my lack of baking these past few weeks.

3. And Oh did I mention I went on a cruise with my mom for 5 days to Mexico! It was a blast and maybe I will update with some pictures from there sometime soon.

So I am going to try and spread out my Christmas baking posts so that they last :)

Well here goes nothing...

Here are my oreo truffles dolled up a bit, later on I'll show you pics of my other truffles

Chocolate Peanutbutter Grams... Easy to make and delicious.

All you do is melt some white chocolate, and regular chocolate (almond bark or bakers chocolate work).  I like white chocolate better but for which ever you prefer just use twice as much.  With the one that is more I just put some peanutbutter, not sure about the amount just a good cup or so, then spread them seperately on some graham crackers.  Then use a knife or something to swirl them into fun patterns.  Pop this baby into the fridge and then when its hardened you can break it up into squares or lines or whatever you want. (Tip: break the pieces before you put any of the chocolate on them and push them together.  That way when you take it out of the fridge you can just run a knife along the precut pieces, otherwise it make break pretty easy on you)
